Animal Reiki
Animals and humans are very similar, we are all spiritual beings at the core. Animals are more in tune with their spirit than we are which makes them highly receptive and sensitive to energy healing. Reiki is therefore an ideal form of complimentary healing for your pet.
Reiki can help animals with all the same ailments as humans, and because humans connect to animals through our respective heart chakras, it is important to know that they can also take on energy of their beloved humans to protect them. If you are going through a rough patch, receiving Reiki can benefit your pet too!

Which animals can Reiki help?
On the basis that we are all energetic beings, Reiki can help all animals, including those in cages and tanks.
What can Reiki help my pet with?
Reiki can provide comfort and support to pets on many different levels. For example:
Anxiety, aggression, chronic pain, healing from injury or illness, end of life care.
Is Reiki Safe?
Yes, Reiki only uses the hands (at a distance or very light touch), it’s completely safe with no known contraindications.
What happens in an animal Reiki session?
Usually Reiki is done over distance with the pet in their own home. A pre-consultation will take place to discuss the reasons for seeing your pet. A chakra reading is performed, then the session begins (crystals can be added to the treatment if desired). The pet will usually drift into a peaceful sleep and it will last about 20 minutes.
How many sessions will it take?
It’s impossible to say, although many people notice changes in their pets after one treatment. If the issue runs deep, it may take longer. Reiki does not claim to cure.
Do I need veterinary consent?
No, unless your pet is under veterinary care.
