Located at the top of your head, the Crown Chakra (the Sahasrara) is the 7th chakra. Translated as "a thousand petals”, the Crown Chakra is represented by the colour violet or white and is associated with consciousness, awareness of a higher self, wisdom, realisation, bliss and presence. Symptoms of imbalance of this chakra are headaches/ migraines, light sensitivity, neurological problems and confusion as well as feeling disconnected from spirit. Often when people experience Reiki they talk of a bright white or purple light coming in through their crown.

Crown Chakra Crystals

Clear Quartz - One of the most powerful crystals for healing and amplifying energy.
Selenite (white) - Clears, opens and activates the crown
Labradorite (oily blue) - Mystical and protective of the aura
Amethyst (purple) - A high vibration stone, protects against psychic attacks and aids memory.
CRYSTAL CARE:
Crystals work even better when taken care of. Crystals should be handled by one owner only so they do not attract 'energies' from others, although regular cleansing will reset the stone.
To cleanse your crystals, leave on a windowsill allowing a full cycle of sunlight and moonlight, leave on a selenite charging plate overnight, cleanse their aura with white sage or run under cold water for one minute. NOTE: not all crystals are suitable for cleansing with water as they are too porous - consult a search engine first!
When cleansed you can set your intention for the stone (basically ask the stone to help you with something specific or an area of your life you need support in.) Don't be greedy, they will only work for your greatest and highest good!
