Vishuddha, the Throat Chakra is the 5th Chakra. It is located at the centre of the neck and it’s meaning is "Purification". The Throat Chakra is represented by the colour light-blue and is associated with speaking, expressing truth, communication (non verbal and verbal), connection with the etheric realm, delivery of ideas and recognition of purpose. Symptoms of imbalance of this chakra are nervousness, mouth problems, thyroid issues and continual re-occurrence of colds and flu. Also, mood swings.

Throat Chakra Crystals
CONTENTS:
Angelite (light blue) - Used to enhance communications with spirit guides. Great for managing overwhelming feelings, bringing a sense serenity.
Blue Quartz (speckled blue) - For breaking down communication barriers when understanding of other fail.
Amazonite (greeny/blue) - Detoxifying and protects against electromagnetic pollution.
Blue Tigers Eye (dark tiger) - Reduces effects of nervousness allowing for clearer communication in uncomfortable conversations.
CRYSTAL CARE:
Crystals work even better when taken care of. Crystals should be handled by one owner only so they do not attract 'energies' from others, although regular cleansing will reset the stone.
To cleanse your crystals, leave on a windowsill allowing a full cycle of sunlight and moonlight, leave on a selenite charging plate overnight, cleanse their aura with white sage or run under cold water for one minute. NOTE: not all crystals are suitable for cleansing with water as they are too porous - consult a search engine first!
When cleansed you can set your intention for the stone (basically ask the stone to help you with something specific or an area of your life you need support in.) Don't be greedy, they will only work for your greatest and highest good!
